What we did last week:
Monday: We were introduced to the letter Ii – Inny
Inchworm! Ask us what sound he makes!
Tuesday: Today talked more about Penguins, and how
they use their body fat to keep them safe from cold weather and water. We put our hands in a blubber bag and decided
if it felt warmer in cold water than our hand without it!
Wednesday: Today we wrote in our journals about the warm
cozy clothes we put on to go outside in the winter.
Thursday: We played an ice
melting game in science.
Friday: Today we had a great time working on the
letter I and number 6, and then we had popcorn for a fun Friday snack!
What we will learn next:
v Letter C – Catina Cat
v Handwriting Letter –
S
v Science: Bears
Introducing Ms. Bales:
Hi, my name is Katie Bales and I will be helping out in your
child’s classroom this semester. Currently, I am completing my teacher
assisting and working towards a degree in Elementary Education at Grand Valley
University. In the classroom, I will be helping out with daily activities and
gaining hands-on experience that will help mold my teaching career. I look
forward to getting to know your children and helping them succeed throughout the
next few months!
