King/Queen of the Jungle, Round 2

Now that each student has had 1 full week of being our King or Queen, we will be doing a daily rotation.  That student will get to be our line leader and do show and tell for that day.
The first round of show-and-tell is to bring in an item found at home that starts with the same SOUND as their name.
Example:  Ben might bring in a ball or boat.  Dora might bring in a doll or dog (stuffed, not real!)   If you cannot find anything, maybe you could draw a picture or use the end sound of your child’s name instead of the first sound.

Our Readiness Kindergarten families are not required to attend this event.  Your child will be automatically enrolled in a Kindergarten classroom for next school year!

Listening Center

We have added our listening center into our rotation during our daily 5 time.  I have MP3 players, but I do not have enough headphones to use.  If your child has any headphones at home, or ear buds, which can be used with MP3 players – they’re welcome to bring in their own.  They will keep them in their own book box and then use
